Antique Chest Restoration Part 4

In this final installment, Frank visits the forge to pick up the replica’s of the original hinges and nails that the blacksmith has been working on. After installation, Frank coats the chest with a green milk paint that was similar to the original color. Frank then coats the entire chest with a coat of Linseed Oil, which is an extremely durable and traditional way of protecting the finish. Finally, Kevin stops back into the shop to see how the restoration has gone. Again, our apologies for some of the A/V issues in the Chest Restoration Series, as it was some older, unused footage that we thought viewers would still enjoy and get something out of, even with some of the production glitches.
