Tapered Sliding Dovetail Article

April’s issue of Popular Woodworking

I am sure this is probably old news, as most of you all probably subscribe to Popular Woodworking. For those that have not had a chance to see the issue, I was fortunate to get an article in the April issue of Popular Woodworking’s Magazine. I did an article on tapered sliding dovetails. The hardest part about writing the article was paring it down to fit within their page limitations and word count. However I figured that it would probably be best to do a video on it, showing you the process. So if you have read the article and still can’t make heads or tails of the sliding tail, then just click the video link here to see the video and to clarify the process.

I read the article but seeing you do the sliding dove tail in person is much better. I have seen several of your demonstrations at the woodworking shows and always learn something. Thanks for taking the time to share your knowledge with us.

As always Frank it was a great, well written article.

Agreed that it is well written. Also good to see your name getting out to a broader group of people and the publicity for Heritage in the article links.

A nice article Mr Strazza. I’ll echo Mr Schoenthal and look forward to more of your expert tuition within hopefully many more videos and magazine articles.
